November 16th-19th Entertainment

November 16th “Dan Franz”

Dan has been a regular entertainer here at Baxter’s for months now. We just wanted to share a little bit about him from his own website.

In his own words…..

Dan Franz

I’m Dan Frantz.  I’ve been playing music in and around the Philadelphia suburbs since 1992, when a friend forced me to accept a gig.  I was a bartender at The Legendary EPICUREAN RESTAURANT in Phoenixville at the time and my good friend, Tim Fullam decided it was time to make me play in public .  . .  in front of people . . . with a microphone . . . turned on.  I spent the next month sweating, trying to learn how to play enough songs from beginning to end and fill a 1 hour set.

While slingin’ whiskey and spillin’ beer (for 13 yrs), I not-so-secretly envied the people performing.  Through my hospitality industry connections, I was very fortunate to have fallen into friendships with some of the area’s finest musicians, who nurtured my alter-ego and helped shape me into the performer I am today.  I love what I do and am honored to play for anyone who’ll listen.

November 17th”Bill Hake”

Serving up The Classic Hits of Yesteryear since 2000.

Classic rock, blues, classic country, old soul, a little bit of all the oldie goodies

Below is a statement from their Face Book page.

“We are both music lovers at heart and we hope it comes through in what we do. We love to play music and to see/hear it played live and done well.”

Kenny Cunningham Tonight @ Baxter’s

Tonight we welcome Kenny Cunningham.

Kenny is a solo acoustic guitarist and singer/songwriter from Liverpool, England. Kenny has played music all over the world – from parties/restaurants in Liverpool and London to the South of France to the Caribbean where he also worked on Yachts and played music for guests. His acoustic music of classic rock/contemporary folk, gentle voice, fingerpicking guitar style is reminiscent of Paul Simon and James Taylor and sounds like two guitars! He provides a coffee house atmosphere with stories and audience participation delighting guests with much more than great musicianship.
